Breakfast was standard...extra charge for hot food but still a good selection of bread, coffee etc
Very good security, very helpful and friendly owner, fantastic location. .great air con..a very easy going experience and definitely value for money..wifi was good throughout

Super close to everything while being just far enough to eliminate the majority of annoying touristic bedlam. Fantastic Burrito joint nearby as well as several parking options. Merry was a legend providing us with all the info we needed. (Her English was fine) Super comfy bed, room with fridge.

Maria is the born host. We felt as if we had known her for years. The room was very spacious and clean. It even had a minibar. In order to prevent the noise from the busy street getting into the room she had installed 2 double glazed windows - we spent a restful night :-) and would come back anytime.

Best guesthouse in Lagos!
Only one issue for us- the king be was two single beds pushed together so it was a little bit uncomfortable to sleep as a couple
Merry was amazing, very kind welcoming and sweet. Check in was super fast and easy, location is perfect very central to bars and restaurants and the beach.
Room was exceptionally clean (we stayed in the green room) with great amenities a lot of space and lovely private patio. Breakfast was generous and delicious, we would have loved to stay there for much longer!

The check-in process. Read the terms of the check.in better than I did. There is a 20E extra fee if you arrive after 19:00
There is also a smell of chlorine in the room. I don't mind that cause it suggets it was cleaned. But it does not fade that much with time. Even if you have your windows opened
It can be seen that Merry did everything possible to ensure the guest with the best experience. She thought at all the small details. Even sensor lights at the door to be able to open the door easier in the night. There is nothing that I can say it can be improved when I am thinking about the rooms and the property

Clean and large rooms in the heart of Lagos
A little bit too slow internet connection in the room.
Location is perfect if you want to be in just in the middle of Lagos' nightlife. The room is big and clean. Beaches are close. Merry helped us with tips about restaurants and bars (she recommended us some very good portuguese restaurants). Probably we will come black...

Tidy and lovely room, delicious breakfast
Merry's house is really lovely decorated and totally clean. We had the green room and had been very happy with it, we also had a little balcony in in the courtyard. The breakfast has also been fresh and delicious. The apartment is in the city of Lagos, next to the pedestrian area. The only thing to bear in mind is that the next parking space (free of charge!) is about 500m away, but you can easily go there by feet.

Great view from balcony perfect location
Nothing to dislike was a great place to stay. Parking was a bit of a worry as hard to navigate the narrow streets but Maria was very helpful finding us free parking not far away.
Central position great restaurants and shops nearby supermarket close and comfortable room. Bed great and coffee and tea available in room. Got a beautiful view of sunrise over water in morning and air conditioning excellent.

who rated it great probably never stayed in a proper hotel
* 20 euro fee for arriving after 19:00
* roomservice only on request (didn‘t even visit the room to change the towels
* no proper locks / key on roomdoor
* „safe“ was not mounted to the wall, cheap and light metalbox that i could have taken in my backpack out of the hotel
* broken outer window lock
* broken shower door that didn’t close
* bad seal of shower tube, water was splashing
* didn’t feel cosy in the room
* host didn‘t take me seriously with my concerns, i gave up - didn’t mention them all because she wasn’t interested.
All in all, the place was ok, I wouldn’t complain if it costed half, but for the price we payed wasn’t low at all, for the money we could have decent hotel.

Great location, small bed-and-breakfast feel
No fridge in the room
Great location in amongst all the action in the heart of Lagos, walking distance to everything you need.
Spacious room.
Little washing line outside the window to dry towels and swimmers etc was helpful.
